La figura accovacciata di una donna vagamente stilizzata e resa impersonale e quasi robotica per l’assenza di alcuni dettagli anatomici: il seno innaturalmente liscio e la patina scultorea, quasi metallica e riflettente, per quanto leggera e indiscutibilmente femminile; ma di una femminilità ancora solamente formale, di solo aspetto, senza intenzione. Non fosse per il particolare accennato del rossetto, amplificato in quell’altro, tanto più evidente delle scarpe: a parte la postura ammiccante (che sembra suggerire il narcisismo di guardarsi riflessa in uno specchio sottostante), sembrano questi gli elementi che, più che essere dettagli fetish, agiscono come indicatori vezzosi, restituendo un senso più naturalmente femminile alla figura.

The crouched figure of a woman vaguely stylized and rendered impersonal and almost robotic by the absence of some anatomic details: the unnaturally smooth breast and the sculptural, almost metallic and reflecting, however light and indisputably feminine, patina; but of a femininity that is still only formal, just the looks, without intention. If it weren’t for the alluded detail of the lipstick, amplified in the other, much more evident one of the shoes: apart from the inviting posture (that seems to suggest the narcissism of looking at the reflection in the mirror underneath), giving back a more naturally feminine sense to the figure
